This basic sewing class is for kids ages 7-13. Students will learn the key parts of the sewing machine, and the importance of machine safety. Then they will learn to sew straight seams by practicing on paper and cloth, before making a drawstring bag. At the end of the class they will get to "shop" for fabric to fill their bag.
