Saxophonist Alex Stewart has toured Europe and North America with the Lionel Hampton Orchestra (accompanying guest artists such as Dizzy Gillespie and Dee Dee Bridgewater) and has appeared on recordings featuring Wynton Marsalis, Dave Stryker, Randy Brecker, Dave Liebman, and many others. His quintet explores an eclectic selection of music by Mike Brecker, guitarists Pat Metheny, John Scofield, and Mike Stern as well as originals and features some of the area’s leading musicians including guitarist Geoff Kim, Tom Cleary on keyboards, Jeremy Hill on bass and Dan Ryan on drums. | 8 PM | FREE |
